It's noon. This barely marks the day as half over. Bloom discovered the concept of shoveling everything into his mouth. This morning he found a piece of a carrot from last nights dinner. I used my finger to scoop it out of his mouth. I guess I lost a bead, but found it in his mouth! A piece of bark! Where did that come from? Who knows, but it ended up in Bloom's mouth. I go to the kitchen to rinse a few plates and suddenly Bloom is gone. Not to worry, I found him in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper. I put a basket of clean laundry down and before I know it the clothes are scattered all over the living room floor. I bundle him up, put him in the car seat, and we arrive at the grocery store only to find he has peeled off his hat, shoes, & socks. I could go on, but you get the point. As exhausting as life feels at times, it is so much more amusing with Bloom around. For now, I find his "mischief" humorous and delightful.
EVERYDAY IS AN ADVENTURE
As life moves along we find ourselves juggling professional jobs, owning a home, and learning how to parent with keeping our priorities straight and living what we believe. Our idea of adventure has shifted from scaling mountains and traveling the world to realizing it is more about an expression of your heart's intention and passion for life. Adventure is the ability to think big about who you are, how you live, and what you can do in the world. In the midst of life moving at a rapid pace, here is our attempt at infusing each day, each project, and each relationship with intention, focus, and humor. Let's see how it goes...
