As life moves along we find ourselves juggling professional jobs, owning a home, and learning how to parent with keeping our priorities straight and living what we believe. Our idea of adventure has shifted from scaling mountains and traveling the world to realizing it is more about an expression of your heart's intention and passion for life. Adventure is the ability to think big about who you are, how you live, and what you can do in the world. First Road Trip

Bloom took his first road trip to the Black Hills over Memorial Day weekend. It was quite the busy weekend. We drove to my parent's lakehouse and spent Saturday night there, then went to Newcastle and spent Sunday night there. He met LOTS of people. He did great on the drive, but definitely has a social threshold. He let everyone know when he had enough!It's amazing how simple a road trip used to be...Everyday there is great joy mixed with great challenges. My emotions are wild. We went to a wedding this weekend and I started to get teary right when the music started! I looked around and all the others with kids or holding babies did the same. What is it about Motherhood that makes us crazy?!
