EVERYDAY IS AN ADVENTURE
As life moves along we find ourselves juggling professional jobs, owning a home, and learning how to parent with keeping our priorities straight and living what we believe. Our idea of adventure has shifted from scaling mountains and traveling the world to realizing it is more about an expression of your heart's intention and passion for life. Adventure is the ability to think big about who you are, how you live, and what you can do in the world. In the midst of life moving at a rapid pace, here is our attempt at infusing each day, each project, and each relationship with intention, focus, and humor. Let's see how it goes...

Yes it's true. I am grateful for Burger King the only indoor playground in this town. The kids run and play and I read books.

The kids are at the age where play dates actually mean less work for me! The kids all play so well and keep each other entertained. It is so funny to listen to them play and interact. I even managed to make muffins.

Tonight bedtime turned into long, drawn out conversation. I am grateful for even hard conversations because they always bring new perspective.

Although the day didn't quite go as planned, I ended up getting to go on TWO snow bike rides with Lindsey. Snow biking was awesome - maybe even awesome enough to make me hate winters a little less! But mostly, it was nourishing to be out on a beautiful day in a beautiful place with a beautiful friend.

Let the Overstreet weekend commence! This is our last weekend to hang with our best friends before they move away. Tonight pizza and beer. Tomorrow snow biking. We are so blessed to have them in our lives.

After a long day and a couple of hours at the doctors office, Bloom is finally asleep. Plus, it's the last day of February so everything gets better from here, right?
2.27.2014
Today was the first sunny, semi-tolerable day in awhile. We took advantage of it. It's so fun having Bloom riding a pedal bike. I threw Ani in a stroller (which she loved) and jogged next to Bloom while her rode. Then we did some exploring and snacking by the river. A glimpse of how great the summer will be!
